Plug-in Check
In order to get the best out of this resource check to see if you have all the appropriate software by checking the following.

Shockwave QuickTime



Installing Quicktime and Shockwave
If either or both of the tests does not appear, you can install the required plug-ins by going to the Macromedia Shockwave website at http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ and the Apple Quicktime website at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/

The plug-ins have also been included on the CDROM and can be installed by following the instructions below.

PC Users:
Open My Computer, open ag_science (CDROM drive), open the players folder.

If the Shockwave test didn’t appear:
Double click on Shockwave.exe and follow the prompts on screen.

If the Quicktime test didn’t appear:
Double click on Quicktime.exe and follow the prompts on screen.


Macintosh Users:
Double click the CD Icon, double click the players folder.

If the Shockwave test didn’t appear:
Double click on Shockwave Installer if you have OS 9.x and follow the prompts on screen.
Double click on Shockwave Installer OSX if you have OS X and follow the prompts on screen.

If the Quicktime test didn’t appear:
Double click on QuickTime Installer if you have OS 9.x and follow the prompts on screen.
Double click on QuickTime OSX if you have OS X and follow the prompts on screen.


Note:
If you are still having problems viewing the page correctly, you can try installing the latest web browser.  These are included on the CD for both PC and MAC systems. Instructions are below.

PC users:
Double click My Computer, double click ag_science (the CDROM), and then double click on the browsers folder, double click setup.exe and follow the prompts on screen.

Macintosh users not running OS X:
Double click the CDROM icon, and then double click on the Browsers folder, double click Netscape 7.0 Installer and follow the prompts on screen.
